Clue for today's Strands puzzle

Today's Strands theme is: Completely fabricated.

If that doesn't assist you, here's a hint: Examine your clothing.

Key words to reveal in-game clues

Your objective is to identify hidden words that match the puzzle's theme. If you're having difficulty, look for any words you can find. Each time you discover three words with four letters or more, Strands will display one of the theme words. These are the words I used to receive those clues, but any words with four letters or more that you find will also work:

  • SINGLE, PROJECT, AIRCRAFT, PROJECTS, LION, SHOP, REMOVE POLE, POLED, ACT, CHARGES, DELAY, SEAL, PURCHASE, SURFACE, REND, EXCEPT, CRAFTY.

Solutions for today's Strands puzzle

These are the responses that connect with the theme. The objective of the puzzle is to locate them all, including the spangram, which is a theme word stretching across the puzzle from one side to the other. Once you have all of them (I initially believed there were always eight but discovered the number can differ), every letter on the board will be utilized. Here are the nonspangram answers:

  • Silk, wool, linen, rayon, cotton, spandex, polyester

Today's Strands spangram

Today's Strands spangram is TEXTILES. To locate it, search for the T that is three letters to the right on the lower row, and proceed.

Quick tips for Strands

#1: To discover additional clue words, try modifying the words you have already identified by adding an "S" or other variations. Also, if you come across a word like WILL, check if other nearby letters can help you form SILL or BILL.

#2: After obtaining a theme word, examine the puzzle to identify additional related words.

#3: If you have the letters for a theme word but aren't able to determine it, try guessing three additional clue words, and the puzzle will illuminate each letter sequentially, exposing the word.
